I bought many items from this auction, including hood system, walk in boxes, ovens, and other items. First and foremost, I know the items were switched because I have the pictures of what was on the auction and I have the pictures of what came in and I showed many people and they do not match.
So just know that the item you get is not gonna be what they showed you. They probably have stock pictures of nice equipment and then tell you nothing on the warranty and no exchanges. I bought walking boxes that were just ripped out of the wall things were bent not all the hardware was there. I couldnt use any of it and at the last minute and try to get my store done.
I had to go out and find boxes and buy them new . The oven was missing pieces. You can actually see the chain mechanisms that were exposed. They were not in the picture.
The hood was supposed to come week with a complete fire suppression system and its not there. The answer they gave me no exchanges no warranty. Youre buying it as is. I understand Im buying it as is , but when they make a claim that all the parts are there and its a complete system, it should be a complete system.
They did nothing to help the situation. As a matter of fact, the boss Scott wouldnt even return a call or an email he had his secretary Maria sent an email And tell me stop bothering her boss. I contacted consumer affairs and my attorney is in the process of finding a lawsuit. Be very very very careful.
If its something for a restaurant or something that you really need dont expect any warranties dont expect to get the item that was pictured and dont expect to get any help from them . They have 1.8 stars and Im just so sorry I didnt look that up and see that before I bought any equipment.
I have attached just some of the pictures and the problems. 80% of the equipment cannot be used and its going to the salvage yard.

Brian is a rip off artist. Bought several items from him for 4800.00 told me everything was tested and works fine over half was junk.
contacted him and he said sorry sold as is a real piece this guy is. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOW LIFE .

False Representation of Quality Items
I am writing because I purchased several pieces of equipment from RCI in multiple states. We waited until we were ready to start building out our restaurant which was a huge mistake.
About a good 95% of the items we bought from them did not work even though at the time of purchase they said it was in working condition. This was a complete lie. At had professional hvac and electricians look at the equipment and they stated that it was impossible for the pieces to have worked. An exhaust fan ($1,200) motor was completed fried; an ice maker $475, fried, and I could go one and on.
Not one piece was good. I mean they couldn't even been repaired with replacement parts. I probably wasted about $10k with these people.
Not to mention the amount of money I spent hauling this junk off! They just flat out lied and sold me junk.

Not right. Same items on his auction are on Ebay WHILE the auction is still going on. So if he got an offer on eBay does he take it, bid up auction himself, or???? We shall see all is still live now. Auction ends Monday, What a waste of time.

Grandview *** is buying most of the equipment on his auctions
I was bidding on several pieces . When I picked up the 2 I won the others I bid on we're still there.
A worker there told me he buys back anything that he thinks should of sold higher. I thought that was how a auction worked. At live auctions it goes what it goes for. Please avoid this dishonest person.
I ve seen pieces running on craigslist that were in the auction with his number a few days after auction ended. Rci should be avoided. I think a lot of bidders would like this guys franchise taken from him so we aren't wasting our time assuming we may win a bid. I have missed out on deals on other equipment assuming I had a fair chance of buying from him.
Nothing fair about his operation!
Rci owner, is this how you want your company represented? Surely you don't!!!

RCI Auctions SOUTHEAST-BEWARE DISHONEST
Beware of Brian at RCI Southeast...in my dealings with him he is just plain dishonest...plain and simple. If you feel like you must buy from him, never pay him cash,as I did on a multi-thousand dollar sale mid November 2014;use a credit card where you have recourse.
Let me digress, in the past month in November I have purchased approximately $50,000 from seven RCI regions from Syracuse, Southward and to the west.
Every operator went to great care to represent condition and circumstance accurately....with the exception of BRIAN at RCI Southeast. He listed and sold merchandise he KNEW could not be removed from the restuarant for it's intended purpose. When my crew tried to pick up paid for merchandise his crew denied them from doing so. Then he refused to pay for his mistake by holding my goods hostage until I paid freight plus I paid his crew for late hour pickup.
This was a one way screwing once Brian had my money. When I inquired he put a guy on the phone who constantly referred to me as "hey buddy"... Heck of a way to treat a client that had just spent over $6000 with him and hundreds of dollars that was useless from misrepresentations! I will never do business with these people again.
I do not have to spend my money where I am not respected nor appreciated.
I am filing complaints with the BBB and in small claims court.
Preferred solution: Refund for damaged merchandise, letter of apology, extra expenses paid, freight paid, letter of apology from president of RCI franchise group and letter of reprimand from corporate to RCIcorporate toRCI Southeast

Would never acknowledge that items are in perfect condition as we are a middle man.. all items are plugged in and checked for functionality.
We by law have an inspection day, where anyone can come in and test every unit prior to bidding. Nothing is hidden or denied, full access to anything being sold is readily available for testing. To post such is absurd and hurtfull.
We have thousands of great reviews and saved customers hundreds and thousands of dollars. We emphasize to inspect as you would anything used prior to buying.
